Bono's impeccable manners in public applauded
New York, Oct 1 (ANI): Irish singer Bono, real name Paul David Hewson, is said to have showed impeccable manners while being made to wait for a table at a diner for 90 minutes.
The lead singer of U2, who turned up with a 10-strong party and no reservation, ordered copious cocktails for his entourage while waiting for a table at Bocca di Bacco on September 27.
He is said to have ordered caipirinhas and pizza for his pals, while they patiently waited for dinner, eventually sitting at two tables.
"People of Bono's stature could take a few lessons from him on how to behave in public," the New York Post quoted a source as saying.
"He never complained about waiting, paid the 1,500 dollars bill and left a generous tip," the source added. (ANI)
