Fergie is ecstatic about being engaged
Washington, Dec 31 (ANI): Black Eyed Peas singer Stacy Ann Ferguson, or Fergie, is on cloud nine ever since her engagement.
She has revealed that since her engagement to Las Vegas sex symbol Josh Duhamel, which was confirmed on 26 Dec07, she feels like the luckiest person in the world.
“I feel like the luckiest girl in the world,” People mag quoted 32-year-old Fergie, as saying on 29 Dec07 night after a performance at Atlantic City’s Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa.
“I’m thrilled,” she added.
During her two-hour show, Fergie gave an adoring shout-out before she performed “All That I Got.”
“This song is about loving someone for their inner beauty,” she told the crowd as her diamond sparkled.
“I hope you all have someone like that in your lives. I do,” she added.
News of the couple’s engagement – they have been an item for three years – broke on Christmas Day.
Yet when it comes to the specifics of how the question was popped, the “Big Girls Don’t Cry” vocalist’s lips are sealed.
“I’m not giving any details. I think [the fine points] are sacred,” Fergie (real name: Stacy Ann Ferguson) explained on the red carpet outside club mur.mur, where she hosted an after-party.
“It’s just important to us,” she said.
But then again, Fergie told People, that keeping quiet is a new challenge.
“It’s hard for me because I have a big mouth,” she said with a laugh. (ANI)
