Hindu temple faces demolition in Malaysia
Kuala Lumpur, Dec. 11 (ANI): A Hindu temple in Malaysia’s Perak state will decide in a week whether or not it will vacate the temple premises, as per the district council’s order.
Meanwhile, Tronoh assemblyman V. Sivakumar appealed to the Sri Maha Kali-amman Hindu temple in Batu Gajah committee to consider all repercussions before reaching a decision.
Referring to Perak Mentri Besar Dr Zambry Abd Kadir’s promise that no temples would be demolished, Sivakumar asked state Speaker R. Ganesan to urge the council to retract its decision to demolish the 30-year-old temple, which serves about 100 devotees daily.
Earlier, the council had issued eviction notice to the temple, ordering it to move out by December 21.
According to The Star Online, the notice was issued after the owners of a food stall beside the temple complained that the structure was built illegally on council land.
Sivakumar said under Local Agenda 21, locals should first agree upon any form of development before it is carried out. (ANI)

This will be really rude and disrespectful if the temple in Malaysia is demolished in this way.
this breakdown many devotees hearts who pay their homage in the temple from so many years.
I think the Government of Malaysia should reconsider the case and then only come on to a final decision.
