India, Italy to sign MoU on agro-food sector cooperation
New Delhi, Jan 10 (ANI): The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for signing of a MoU between India and Italy on cooperation in the agro-food sector.
The MoU will promote bilateral cooperation between the two parties for promotion of agro-food products facilitating creation of a ‘Joint Foundation” and exchange of know-how, technologies between Indian and Italian agro-food enterprises.
The MoU will remain valid for a period of five years.
The Cabinet also approved the signing of a MoU between both countries in the field of agriculture and phytosanitary issues.
The MoU will promote further bilateral cooperation joint activities and exchanges in the areas of agriculture and phytosanitary issues through exchange of scientific delegations and experts between the two counties.
The MoU will remain valid for a period of five years. (ANI)
