Washington, Nov 25 (ANI): Lindsay Lohan has finally made up her mind to see a counsellor for her prescription drug addiction after repeated public pleas of her father to seek professional help, it has emerged.

The Mean Girls star is believed to be meeting an expert thrice a week.

"She goes two, sometimes three times a week. This is not a program or substance-abuse counsellor or police officer watching over her; it's someone to talk to in a confidential state," Contactmusic quoted an insider, as telling Life and Style mag.

The source added: "She knows, and everyone knows, this is a huge stepping-stone for her - get in there, talk to someone, figure out what's going on and then try to fix it. First comes the diagnosis."

In a desperate bid to get her to daughter to check into rehab Michael Lohan had even leaked taped recordings of phone calls with her. (ANI)
