Martin Scorsese to film Bob Marley biopic
Washington, Feb 9(ANI): Oscar winning director Martin Scorsese is all set to make a documentary on music legend Bob Marley.
Marley had died of cancer in 1981 at the age of 36.
Marley’s son Ziggy Marley would be the executive producer of the yet to be titled film, reports Contactmusic.
The film is set for release on 6 February 2010, the 65th anniversary of the Exodus star’s birth.
Scorsese has translated his passion for music into several documentaries, including the older Bob Dylan biopic, “No Direction Home.”
The filmmaker’s new film on Rolling Stones concert titled ‘Shine A Light’ recently premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in Germany. (ANI)
