Mel Gibson ‘has not turned to the bottle again’

Melbourne, Sept 25 (ANI): Mel Gibson has denied reports that he has taken to alcohol, after a number of sources claimed that the actor has been partying and hitting the bottle frequently.

In 2006, the 51-year-old actor came under the spotlight after he was arrested for drink driving in Malibu.

Recently, sources claimed that the ‘Brave Heart’ star has been drinking cocktail, and that he appeared to be high during one of his night outs in Bali.

However, Gibson’s publicist Alan Nierob also said that people should not assume things so quickly.

“People should not be so quick to assume things,” News.com.au quoted the publicist, as saying.

“Unless he (Gibson) is there drinking water, coffee, tea or soft drinks, they’re hawking misleading photos,” he added.

A business partner, who doesn’t want to be named, also said that the actor is just drinking non-alcoholic drinks.

“He was in Bali and he was not drinking alcohol,” the source said.

“He was drinking those non-alcoholic virgin cocktails that are made in those island resorts,’ the source added. (ANI)
