Longoria's fiance puts basketball first

FRENCH basketball star Tony Parker may be about to marry one of Hollywood's most beautiful actresses, but he knows where his priorities lie - and they are not with his future wife.

“I feel like I am blessed. But I know my priorities - which are basketball first,” he told a news conference in Paris a week ahead of his celebrity wedding with Eva Longoria.

Parker said it was Longoria who chose the setting for the July 7 marriage - the baroque chateau of Vaux-le-Vicomte outside Paris.

“Personally I don't care (where we get married),” he said.

"I've been talking about it every day for the last seven months. It's a girl's day.

Earlier this month the playmaker for the San Antonio Spurs became the first European player to be named Most Valuable Player of the National Basketball Association Finals.
