From 'Largest Merger in Software History' to Hollywood.

Mr. Mendez’s new production company, Monterrey Pictures, is currently embarking on it is first venture, “700 Hill”, based on true events in the history of the Mexican-American experience.

After obtaining his MBA and working internationally in the U.K. and Belgium, Mr. Mendez co-founded a supply chain software company, Supplybase.inc. in 1996 in San Francisco. Acquiring venture capital funding, Mr. Mendez and his business partners sold the business to i2 Technologies (ITWO) in 2000 for $380 Million along with i2’s acquisition of another public software company for over $6 Billion, in the “Largest Merger in Software History” at that time. Subsequent to the sale, Mr. Mendez started the New York City office for a Pennsylvania-based venture capital and consulting firm.
