Mumbai, July 9 : The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark hit yet another intra-session high of 15,075.30 points in early trade today on sustained buying by funds in heavy-weight stocks.

The BSE-30 share Sensex, which had crossed 15k level on Friday, shot up by another 111.18 points, or 0.63 per cent to scale the record intra-session high of 15,075.30 in the first five minutes of trading.

Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange's Nifty was up by 32.45 points at 4,417.30, a new intra-day high.

Major contributers to the rise in the Sensex were Reliance Industries, Larsen and Toubro, Bharti Telecom, TCS, Wipro, Grasim Industries and Gujarat Ambuja Cement.
