Polling stopped at few places, violence in some parts

Sialkot/ Gujrat/ Lahore/ Peshawar, Feb 18 (ANI): A candidate has been wounded in an attack in the Dadu District of Sindh.

Reportedly, several people have been hurt in a firing incident at the Qadirpur polling station in Ghotki District.

The presiding officer of Sialkot polling station suspended polling temporarily after a man was killed in a firing incident.

Polling in Gujrat's Karian polling station was also suspended temporarily after a man was wounded in a firing incident there.

In Punjab, the election commission suspended polling in Punjab constituency 154 after Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Chaudhry Asif Ashraf was killed in a firing incident.

Earlier in the day, there was a blast at Peshawar's Bajaur polling station, which led to polling being stopped. (ANI)
