Over 400 shops gutted in Gwalior fire
Gwalior, Nov 7 (ANI): Over 400 shops were gutted in a major fire that broke out at a firecracker market in Gwalior on Wednesday.
A number of four-wheelers and over a dozen two-wheelers were destroyed in the fire that broke out ahead of ‘Diwali’.
Though no casualties have been reported, damages were estimated to be worth more than 10 million rupees.
“The fire is more or less under control at the moment. But since it was firecrackers, the shops have all burnt down. When the explosion took place all shops came down,” said an assistant fire official.
The fire fighters were able bring the inferno under control. (ANI)
