Senegalese footballer gets Internet death threats for racist comments
London, Sep.22 (ANI): Britain’s “most hated” footballer El Hadji Diouf has been rocked by internet death threats.
According to The Daily Mail, the Blackburn striker has been targeted by furious fans after allegedly ranting at a shocked ballboy: “F*** off, white boy.”
The 28-year-old reportedly launched the astonishing race attack after the lad failed to return the ball fast enough during his side’s 3-0 Premier League defeat at Everton on Sunday.
Diouf was spoken to by cops directly after the game when he was led out of the team’s changing room at Goodison Park.
He will be interviewed again and was also spoken to by his own manager Sam Allardyce, 54.
Now fans on football forums and websites have hit back at the Senegalese striker – with some issuing death threats.
An Everton fan, with screen name Sticky Toffee, threatens to “track down the scum”.
He wrote: “This f***ing idiot deserves to be taught a lesson, he should be hunted down. No ground will be safe.”
Another warns: “He’s the most hated man on Merseyside… now the rest of Britain hate him too.”
Hothead Diouf will face the full hatred of football fans tonight when he returns to action against Nottingham Forest in the Carling Cup. (ANI)
