Sharif for restoration of suspended judiciary in Pakistan
Islamabad, Feb 25 (ANI): Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) chief Nawaz Sharif on Monday that his party is in favour of restoration of suspended judiciary.
“We want restoration of the suspended judiciary,” Sharif said while addressing joint press conference with Jamat Islami’s Qazi Hussain Ahmed.
“Musharraf is an unconstitutional and illegal president,” The News quoted Shairf, as saying.
Sharif went on to say that the sacked judiciary would be restored to decide about eligibility of Musharraf.
“Joint meeting of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), the PML-N, Awami National Party and other groups on February 27 would make the situation comprehendible for Musharraf,” Sharif said. (ANI)
