Stallone could be back in Rambo 5
London, Jan 29 (ANI): Actor Sylvester Stallone could reprise his iconic action role of John Rambo in the fifth instalment of the Rambo franchise.
The fourth instalment, simply entitled ‘Rambo,’ made 10million pounds in its US opening weekend.
Studio boss Harvey Weinstein has revealed that Hollywood execs were planning the fifth sequel to the path-breaking film.
The 61-year-old actor plays the role of Vietnam War veteran John Rambo in the new movie, which picks up from where Rambo3 ended.
“We’re bringing him back to the US,” The Sun quoted Weinstein, as saying.
He said that the movie follows the success of Rocky Balboa in 2006, the sixth in the boxing saga.
However, according to an insider, bosses were eager to get a move on with Rambo 5.
“Sly’s 61. He can’t be an action hero forever,” said the insider. (ANI)
