Star Wars’ ‘lightsaber’ named ‘Greatest Movie Weapon’
Washington, Jan 18 (ANI): The ‘lightsaber’ from Star Wars emerged to be the greatest movie weapon of all time, in a poll.
Gaining 71 pct votes in the film fans’ poll by Twentieth Century Fox, the plasma-bladed tool slashed rivals with a lightning sweep.
It defeated Dirty Harry’s .44 Magnum, which captured the second position.
The third place went to Indiana Jones’s whip, with Uma Thurman’s limb-chopping sword from Kill Bill at fourth spot.
The fifth place was in turn taken by the chainsaw from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
The top five ‘Greatest Movie Weapons of All Time’ are:
1. Lightsaber from Star Wars
2. Dirty Harry’s .44 Magnum
3. Indiana Jones’ whip
4. Uma Thurman’s Kill Bill sword
5. Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s chainsaw (ANI)
