Suicide bomber kills top Pak army medical officer, seven others (Lead: Pak blast)
Islamabad, Feb 25 (ANI): At least eight people, including Pakistani Army top medical officer and two of his staff, were killed and several others were injured in a suicide bomb attack in Rawalpindi on Monday.
Around 25 people were injured in the incident that took place outside an office of the government’s national data registration agency.
Injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals.
Police and troops have cordoned off area and investigating into the matter.
The Pakistan Interior Ministry has confirmed the attack that killed eight, including Lt. General Mushtaq Baig, his gunman, driver, a female civilian and the suicide bomber. (ANI)
